    Black Friday Shopping For School?

    Black Friday Shopping For School?

Yes, why not. We homeschool and since we're from a small town, (I don't think I would try this in a big city, unless it's the Lord Jesus' Will), we went to bed early (though I was so excited I could barely sleep-it's my first time going to this) and we left at about 3:30 am to go to Kohl's for the Early Bird Specials, we got a lot of good deals. We saved hundreds of dollars, plus we got Kohl's Cash.
We also went to Wal-Mart and saved hundreds of dollars.
We can also count this as school hours about 7 hours we were shopping. That's a lot of power walking and we had to carry the items in Kohl's. The kids behaved very well and kept up with me. It was nice. We even had breakfast 3 times (I did 4 times, because I was hungry at midnight and couldn't sleep since I was so excited). Also, at Kohl's I had the two older children look at the price of the item we wanted to purchase and match it to the price on the %off card for the price we needed to pay.
Then when we got home I went shopping online at shopinsuperhighway.com to shop at Kohl's to earn MARewards (to earn free products that I use and love) on more Early Bird Specials-available online and at the store.

    Thanksgiving

I am thankful that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.
I am thankful that my husband and I are married and that we have 5 beautiful/handsome healthy children.
I am thankful for my husband and I are healthy and getting healthier.
I am thankful that we have a business that is our backup plan so my husband Lord Willing, can retire when he's 40yrs old or before.
I am thankful for God gave us a business that gives time freedom and flexibility.
I am thankful that we homeschool, because homeschooling also gives us time freedom and flexibility.
You want to know what we have done for homeschooling 2 times in the past 7 days and plan on doing today? Making Christmas ornaments. It's an enjoyable time to be able to sit down with your kids and make Christmas ornaments. Jesus REALLY IS my strength in my weakness, because in the past I didn't even want to let our kids paint because of the mess. We're making beaded ornaments with little tiny beads:) and it's okay if they get spilled on the floor, we just need to pick them up and Praise the Lord Jesus Christ that we have hard wood floors in the room we are making the Christmas ornaments.
Warning:Making beaded ornaments may be more expensive to make, but sometimes-often you need to look at the legacy you are leaving. Talk to your children about Christmas, about Jesus is the reason for the Season.
